Known as the Himalayan Kingdom, Nepal has 1310 mountains (the major portion of the Mountain range.) which are over 5500 meters (18,090 ft) to 8848m (29,028ft) above sea level. This makes our country exceptionally popular for mountaineers.
Since 1978, the Nepal Mountaineering Association has had the authority to issue climbing permits for small-scale peaks. Thanks to our NMA membership, Unique Path Trekking can see to permitting without the previously complicated application process..
Our Guides are experienced high elevation mountaineers. They are trained to take you safely into the thin air region of the majestic Himalayas. They are particularly concerned about the acclimatization process. Unlike certain other organizers, we only dispatch guides who are have summit experience on your target mountain.
We shall gladly send you the rules and regulations of the Nepal Mountaineering Association upon request. If you are interested venture into the snow and ice regions of the high Himalayas, please contact us for detailed information. We can arrange equipment, guides, high altitude porters, and all food and accessories. Any NMA-approved mountain can be targeted. There is only one item you have to bring yourself: brave and spirit! Unique Path Trekking will see to everything else.
LOBUCHE PEAK CLIMBING
LOBUCHE PEAK (6119M / 20075 FT)
There exist two distinct summit to Lobuche peak: Lobuche east ( 6119m/ 20,075ft ) and Lobuche west ( 6145m/ 20161ft ). Although they are connected by a continuous ridge there is a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. The trekking peak permit is for the east peak, and expedition permit. Lobuche is also spelt Lobuche on some maps.
MERA PEAK CLIMBING
MERA PEAK (6476 M / 21247 FT)
As you finally reach at the majestic Mera peak, officially the highest of trekking peak in Nepal, you find yourself looking down and towards great many magnificent natural landscapes. You will have a direct view of the southern face of the Everest from this point of your trek. Moreover, you will have great many rare glances of watershed area, the wild and heavily wooded valleys Hinku and Hongu Drangkas from this heavenly space.
ISLAND PEAK CLIMBING
ISLAND PEAK (6189 M / 20305 FT)
This peak offers an enjoyable climb the peak, also provides some of the most striking scenery in the Khumbu. If the peak can be likened to an Island in a glacial sea, than the main land forms a semicircle of cliffs that rise in the north to the rugged summit of Nuptse ( 7879m/ 25850ft ), Lhotse ( 9501m/27870ft), Lhotse middle peak( 8410m/ 27590ft), as yet still not climbed and Lhotse Shar ( 8383m/ 27503ft ).
NAYA KANGA PEAK CLIMBING
NAYA KANGA (5844 M / 19180 FT)
Viewed from the hill above Kyangjin Gompa in the Langtang Valley, Naya Kanga is a shapely mountain rising to the west of the Ganja La (5122m/16800ft) which is a popular, although at times difficult, pass giving access to Helambu and the Kathmandu Valley. The normal route of ascent on Naya Kanga is via the North-East Ridge, an aesthetic line on snow and ice, classically alpine in character.
YALA PEAK CLIMBING
YALA PEAK (5500 M / 18045 FT)
Yala is a “trekking peak” in the Langtang Region of Nepal. It is classed as Grade F (facile/easy) on the Alpine Grading system although this can vary by a point or so depending on the snow conditions. In 2003 I would have definitely rated the peak as PD. The peak is seldom climbed in it’s own right, often being used as a warm-up for Naya Kanga on the opposite side of the valley.
PHARCHAMO PEAK CLIMBING
PHARCHAMO (6187 M / 20298 FT)
West to the Khumhu and close to the Tibetan frontier is a wild, isolated high valley the “Rolwaling” – drifted down between steep snowcapped peaks. This splendid valley is un spoilt and apart from the ravaging onslaught of trekkers.
Parchamo is an attractive Peak that fascinates every trekker passing through. It was 1955 when climbed for the first time. South to the Tashi Lapcha it has a north-by-northwest ridge, which rises from the crevassed glacier astride the Tashi Lapcha.
THARPU CHULI CLIMBING
THARPU CHULI (5500 M / 18045 FT)
Join us for this shorter trek into the Annapurna Sanctuary, a spectacular cirque stuck right in the heart of the Annapurna Range surrounded by a collection of Himalayan giants. This is the best trip for climbing a peak in the Himalayas in the shortest amount of time. An excellent introduction to climbing in the Nepal Himalaya. From Kathmandu, we travel to Pokhara by private transportation where the trek begins. Along the trek in we travel through a variety of villages, climates and cultures.
DHAMPUS PEAK CLIMBING
DHAMPUS PEAK (6012 M / 19725 FT)
Dhampus peak situated in the Dhaulagiri range is becoming one of the popular peaks in the area. This is not a technical peak however may need to be acclimatized before you try to ascend it. Before ascending the peak, a trek to Thorang La Pass (5416 m.) is advisable which helps you to be acclimatised.
From Pokhara, you may take a flight to Jomsom (2250 m.) and make a side trip around for acclimatization propose or alternatively you can trek from Nayapul to all the way Tukche.
CHULU EAST PEAK CLIMBING
CHULU EAST PEAK (6250 M / 20505 FT)
Ascent of Chulu West and Chulu Central are best made from a base camp in a small valley north of Manang situated off the main trail to Thorong La pass 5416m. Indeed some of the best views of this peak can be had from that pass..
North-West Ridge: Go beyond the hut following the yak pastures and walk up a ridge which leads into a hidden valley where it is possible to find a good site for base camp.
POKHALDE PEAK CLIMBING
POKHALDE PEAK (5806 M / 19049 FT)
This mountain poses few difficulties and it is often used as a warm up for other Himalayan Peaks. It is one of the so called ‘trekking peaks’ of Nepal and it does not require a huge amount of mountaineering skill. The term trek peak is, however, a little misleading for some of these peaks which should be approached seriously. Most people climb the north ridge from the Kongma La. It is also possible to climb the South ridge
THROUNG PEAK CLIMBING
THROUNG PEAK (5555 M / 18225 FT)
This mountain is the shortest possibility to gain a 6000 m-peak while doing the famous trekking around Annapurna. The highest point of this Trekking is Thorong La (pass), 5416 m. From this pass it is the first mountain to the south.
There are no detailed maps available about this area of Nepal (correct me if I’m wrong). The maps you can buy contain south of the pass only a mountain called Khatung Kang (6488 m).
TILICHO PEAK CLIMBING
TILICHO PEAK (7134 M / 23401FT)
Tilicho peak is a little bit hard to climb than the other mountains having height of the around 7000m. Theway to this mountain climbing has two ways up to it’s base camp. One way goes via Marshyangdi valley route and another way goes via Kaligandaki valley route. If the teams go through Kaligandaki valley then it is very hard to cross the Messocanto pass, which is situated at 5300m.altitude From the top of this Messokanto pass, the tranquil view of Tilicho lake can be seen.
